FUNCTION
This
application will rename JPG files (pictures) according to your specification:
· Select a drive\folder
then LIST
· Specify a Prefix
Mask & a Starting Number then
PREVIEW
· RENAME all Selected Files !
· ... & save
your settings on EXIT ...
OBJECTIVE
To
rename a group of JPG files to filenames meaningful to you:
Assign a trip
to a group of files:
DSFC0001.JPG
to LAS_VEGAS_2010_001.JPG
DSFC0002.JPG
to LAS_VEGAS_2010_002.JPG
...
Assign an
event to a group of files:
DSFC0001.JPG
to MOON_ECLIPSE_2010_001.JPG
DSFC0002.JPG
to MOON_ECLIPSE_2010_002.JPG
...
Assign a date (YYYY_MM_) to a group of
files:
DSFC0001.JPG
to 2010_12_001.JPG
DSFC0002.JPG
to 2010_12_002.JPG
...
FEATURES
· Up to a thousand (1000) JPG files can be renamed in one
(1) command
· Access to all Drives & Folders including USB
keys (E:\)
· Full validation within a folder to prevent
conflicting names
· Wild characters (* and ?) can be used for group
selection within a folder
· Number of digits for sequencing is user determined
(01 or 001 or 0001 or 00001...)
